You have someone pick a card from a genuinely shuffled deck. Then, you stick a Sharpie right through it. And here's the bit that gets people: you can show both sides of the card while the pen's poking through. I don't get why it works so well, but it does.

Pull the pen out, and the card's back to normal. Flip it over and do it again if you're feeling brave. It's based on Don England's trick, just with a bit more finesse. Looks good, works nicely for close-up stuff.
